Look what I just ordered

I want to give you a sneak peak into what I ordered for the store. It is time to start taking those back to school pictures so I ordered some paper to help you celebrate the occasion. It is also time to start soccer and football season. We already have some cute soccer paper, rub-ons, and stickers so go and check that out.

How many more days?

I have officially joined the ranks of hundreds of other parents in the world who are counting down the days until school starts. This year will be different. I won't have one child going to school. I will have 3. Even though I have 20 days left, I have already started having nightmares about forgetting to send them to school. My friend and I joke about putting the kids on the bus, go calmly inside, and streaking through the house while squealing loudly.
The summer has been busy. We have spent quite a bit of time traveling and splashing in the backyard "pool". It is time to say goodbye to the pool and hello to school

More pictures from CHA. Bazzill is coming out with a mat for doing your crafts on. They are also coming out with a new products called stitch'z. The cardstock comes with pre-punched holes for threading. I fell in love with the Christmas ideas for ornaments.

We R Memory Keepers have come out with beautiful linen albums.

I won stuff

I actually won stuff at CHA. Jeff won a Cricut cartridge. It is the Doodletype cartridge. Since I have a Wishblade we really didn't have a use for the Doodletype. It just so happened that my husband fell in love with the Cricut Expression. For those of you who don't know what a Cricut is, yeah right... The Expression cuts 12"X24" paper. We decided an Expression would be a good idea for the crop I am planning. So, we ordered one along with several new cartridges including Disney. Now I have use for the Doodletype.

When we got home I had a message on the phone from HP. I won a compact photo printer. Yea!!! I love printers. Unfortunately I didn't get the message until I got home so they have to mail it to me. I want it NOW (insert whine).

KI memories are coming out with some really cool paper. Check out those intricate cuts. Let me tell you the decision of what paper/products to buy is going to be really hard.

Oh, Wow

Can I say sensory overload? There was so much to see. I was excited about every booth I saw. The colors, the layouts, the embellies, omg... I must have looked like a kid on Christmas morning. I just wish I'd won the lottery right before I got here. I would buy everything I saw.

The doors opened and we all filed in to see the goodies each company had in store for us. I can't even tell you what my favorite line was. I haven't seen them all. There are so many. I have a bed full of brochures to look through while my husband lay snoring.

I'm Here!!! CHA

After some scary moments of nearly missing our flight, we are here. Sure we rolled out of bed at the butt crack of dawn, 3:50 am, finding an airport in a town we've never been in before proved to be difficult. As soon as we check our bags in outside, we were being paged on the intercom to the gate. The bad part was we still had to go through security. Did I mention we are an ORANGE alert? The line for screen wrapped around 3 times. They were boarding passengers by now. We made it through and sprinted to the gate just in time to board. WHEW!!!

We were able to get to the convention center and explore a little before our first class. I was getting very excited just watching the vendors setting up for tomorrow. Class was great. I really enjoyed our speaker and was able to meet some really nice people at my table. Shout out to my new friends.

We were able to do a little site seeing and ate great food. We visited Bubba Gump's resturant. I would go back just for the great service. I have to get some sleep now. Tomorrow is a big day.

9 years ago today

Nine years ago today I married the most amazing man. We won't be able to celebrate today. We are planning to celebrate during our trip to CHA. I am looking for a nice place to eat in Chicago. In the mean time I guess I will plan a nice dinner here at home after we put the little ones down to sleep. As I look back over our lives there isn't much that I would change. Maybe I would nag a little less. We have been extremely blessed. I look forward to the next 50 years and then I will trade him in for a younger model.
